Valley Health - Counselor

Valley Health Systems (https://valleyhealth.org/) is a Federally Qualified Health Center providing primary and preventative care to over 106,000 patients each year in southern West Virginia, southeastern Ohio, and eastern Kentucky. With over forty healthcare centers, we offer Family Medicine, Women’s Health, Dentistry, Internal Medicine, Ear Nose and Throat, Optometry, Pediatrics, Pharmacy, and Behavioral Health services, with an emphasis on providing care to underserved patients in our communities. Valley Health is currently seeking additional providers to join our Behavioral Health team. In Kanawha County, we currently have openings in an integrated pediatric setting. In Cabell County, we have openings in school based, and women’s health settings. Providers in our department provide direct clinical care to our patients while working as part of an integrated health care team. Providers complete warm hand-offs, consultation, brief interventions, and general psychotherapy services. Our behavior health providers also assist with crisis assessment and safety planning for patients within our integrated clinics.
